I have been around dogs all my life, from a young child where my father bred, trained and field trialled numerous champion Labradors Retrievers and Springer Spaniels, and from the age of six whereby I had my own pet West Highland White terrier.

Over the past two decades I have had three of these charismatic little characters my current Westie, I purchased from Tina Squire of the renowned Bellevue Kennels. She is a fantastic example of the breed, (Bellevue Light My Fire by CH Krisma Streetwise) who is now a sophisticated older lady and retired.

I have admired the stature and regal nature of the Beagle for many, many years and decided I wanted to purchase a top quality show bitch, this was a challenge in itself, and although it took two years to achieve, in 2007 I purchased Dialynne Delta of Beighleigh from Dianna and Melanie Spavin of the famous Dialynne Kennels.

Delta is by Crufts Group Champion Dialynne Maximus, she is the kindest and most affectionate dog I have ever had the pleasure to own, a true duchess with all the class you would expect from a superbly bred individual.

My goal for the future is to breed top quality Beagles, and develop the Beighleigh prefix within the show ring as a name which represents the high expectations and standards, true to the character and conformation of these amazing animals.
